Forbo Flooring Systems – a division of the Swiss Forbo Group – is a leading player in the global resilient floor coverings market. The division is world market leader in environmentally friendly linoleum floor coverings with a 60% market share. With sales of more than 500 M Euro it employs 3,000 people with sales and marketing activities in over 29 countries globally and 12 production sites in Europe. The Director HR Benelux will support sales and marketing functions in the Netherlands and Belgium, a number of divisional central functions and three manufacturing sites at Assendelft, Krommenie and Coevorden. In total there are about 1,000 employees within the scope of the job holder.
The job
Reporting to the Divisional HR Director you will be a key agent of change. You will ensure that the business is kept abreast of key developments in the field of human resources management, organisation and management development, reward and any changes in employment law as they may impact the business. You will be a full member of the management team, act as key member of negotiating teams in Collective Labour Agreement negotiations, and as business partner to heads of functions to ensure company policy is interpreted and applied in each area. You will lead the Dutch HR team and provide a high level of service on all HR matters across all functions.
The profile
You have a University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. You should be able to demonstrate relevant work experience of at least 7-8 years in leading HR in a complex organisation. You are a team player with outstanding relationship building skills. You have an excellent track record as a generalist, human resources professional in a commercial environment. Your in-depth knowledge of the impact of changes and the ability to secure commitment for new ideas and projects are vital. You are a strong communicator, able to operate and communicate effectively at all levels in Dutch and English.
